I am a multidisciplinary artist and costume designer working across textile arts, performance, and curation. My practice explores textile history, care work, and ecology through collaborative projects, exhibitions, and residencies across Europe, combining research-led processes with hands-on making to foster dialogue between body, space, and fabric. I strive for an art that repairs, that longs for connection and finds a way to make it possible, a different kind of activism.
My research centers on textile as a form of embodied knowledge: technique, memory, and resilience passed from body to body rather than written down. This led me to complete an MA in Costume Design at the Universität der Künste Berlin, training in traditional needle lace with master craftswomen in Burano. Recent work includes curating "Den Faden Verlieren" (R100, Berlin) and leading a textile workshop series, Sewing Ecologies, in Berlin and Venice.
I have eight years of experience as a costume and stage designer. I gained my first theater experience at Schaubühne Berlin, assisting Lilja Rupprecht and Anne-Cécile Vandalem, then worked as a resident costume assistant at Staatstheater Kassel (2020–2022) after designing costumes for the film Apollo & Artemisia (dir. Savio de Bernardis). Since then, I've worked internationally as a freelance designer, collaborating with Candela Capitán, Deva Schubert, Silvia Costa, Christiane Pohle, and others, and recently presented new work with choreographer Cecilia Xuetong Feng at Hosek Contemporary.
